The Back the Future Event will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Olde City Park in downtown Wylie. It will include carnival booths from our local campus PTAs, bounce houses, food trucks, facepaint and much more. The district will be helping us promote this event to all students and their families. We are inviting you to join us either as a sponsor or as a vendor. Our sponsorship levels are listed on this website, and our vendor price is $40 per booth.

Winter Field Day (WFD) is organized by the Winter Field Day Association (WFDA). It is designed to help amateur radio operators practice portable emergency communication skills in harsh winter conditions such as snow, ice, and freezing temperatures
- Purpose: Strengthen emergency‑communications readiness in winter environments.
- Format: A 24‑hour operating event (not a contest) emphasizing setup, operation, and logging under adverse conditions
- Bands/Modes: HF (160–10 m) and all bands above 50 MHz; voice, CW, and digital modes except FT8/FT4/JT9‑type modes due to emergency‑traffic limitations
- Participation: Solo or with clubs; indoor, outdoor, mobile, or home categories

Parks on the Air (POTA) is a radiosport award program designed to encourage licensed amateur radio operators to visit and operate from parks and public lands while respecting local regulations and other park users
